Decorators still here, wardrobe man still here!!! Grandma duty later when we pick up GS from preschool, we shall be taking him out to dinner this evening, his choice. So it will either be the Turkish or Indian as he loves lamb.

Morning all. Dry and brightening up here in Leigh on Sea. OH taken day off today and we are off out for lunch to celebrate 14 years together

Morning Mick, Morning All. Dry at fhe moment although heavy rain and strong winds forecast for our corner of Somerset. Catch up day and food shop if I can stir myself and it’s not too wet. Hope Friday is kind to everyone.

Good morning, everyone. First time posting on this thread but I often read it and think how friendly it is. I’m here in Co Wicklow in Ireland by the sea. It’s to be windy but dry here today, definitely time to do some leaves sweeping! Going a a choir practice this morning in a different venue than usual, and to a local cafe tonight for a music session over dinner - a girls night out! Looking forward to that?. Another working week nearly over, thank goodness it’s Friday .

Good morning from a brightening Colchester... actually heading down the A12 to DD's to look after all 3 DGS today. School run and furniture delivery too.

We are off to be with DS and DGSs for the weekend. Should be full on tiring fun. Fortunately my cough and cold are almost gone.

Good morning everyone. Dark but dry here in Northampton so far.

Had a good shopping trip to Milton Keynes yesterday - didn't have what I wanted in M&S in my size so I had to order it when I got home, should be ready to collect later on today. Got four Christmas presents, now I've only got DD, DGDs and a friend to get for. Might go over to Rushden Lakes or Leicester even to have a browse. Treated myself to lunch in Cafe Rouge, which was lovely, but oh I did miss DH.

Sainsbury's this morning, then DGDs after school.

I think we are forecast wind and rain this evening but the day should be reasonable here on the south coast. Can't quite believe that the first week on November has already been and gone.

It's WI this morning and DH will meet me afterwards for a pub lunch at our lovely local. They do a pensioner's special which is always freshly cooked, local produce and great value.

Good morning from a still dark but dry East Northants. Ten pin bowling with U3A this morning, followed by lunch with friends and then dropping off great grandaughter's presents for tomorrow's 5th birthday. Hope it's a good day for all.

I'm having a massage today, very relaxing, she always recommends doing very little for the rest of the day, lovely.

Recovering from a child’s funeral yesterday and awaiting the news that a close family members funeral has taken place in another country, it should have finished by now, not a happy couple of weeks. Hopefully things will start to look up, apart from that I’m going to keep busy, yet again, to crowd all of the thoughts out.
We are due storms later so DD and GD are setting off early for home to the West Country, so off to make pancakes for breakfast. Have a good day everyone.

Very dark dark here too, but it seems dry so far. I am taking Partner to train station at 7am then onto gym.

Off to hairdressers later, then to Mums for lunch. I was going to DGD's Primary school's annual Bonfire and fireworks display this evening, but it has been postponed due to heavy rain forecast!

No idea what the weather is like in North Leicestershire as it's still dark. At least I can't hear rain or wind.

Sainsbury's, butchers and post office for me this morning and a friend is coming for a meal this evening.
