Dieting, dieting and dieting.

We seem to have wandered off the "I wish I liked" bit! So many of you don't like olives, garlic and opera - three things I like very much. But I wish I liked beetroot, because it is offered to vegetarians in so many restaurant dishes. Actually, I don't mind the taste but it makes me sick, so I avoid it.

Why do I always get offered goat cheese? What's wrong with regular cheese.
I'm a victim of the "only v dish on the menu* in most restaurants.

Cream. Wish I could enjoy the puddings that are slathered with it.
Cupcakes - I mean the American-style ones with all that mass of icing. Make me feel nauseous just looking at them.

Spa treatments/massages, etc. Wish I could enjoy such 'pampering' but I hate being mauled/poked about, not to mention getting my kit off.

Formal dinner functions (parties) where place names are divided by one seat away from partners (I swap them)

Standing for ages chatting & smiling at functions,acting as if aquaintences are your best friends,when all you want is to walk away and find a seat.
