I’ve had a Dyson V10 Animal for about 6 months or so.
I’ve always had an upright Dyson but was fed up with having to keep plugging it in in different rooms and often nearly coming a cropper tripping over the cable!
My first thought with the Dyson V10 is that it doesn’t feel as powerful as the upright-maybe because it’s so light.
But the proof is the result.
Nice clean carpets, wooden floors and you can tell by the bin (being full) that it’s powerful.
I find it doesn’t take very long to recharge. 30 minutes or so?
I use full power on carpets and low power on wooden floors and rugs.
The only downside is the filter.
It has to be rinsed through and takes quite a while to dry out completely, so I purchased another from Dyson.
If I remember correctly, it was more than £40!
All in all, it is an expensive purchase but I’m glad I took the plunge.
P.S. And I have always found their after sales service excellent, too.
