Good morning all.
Isn't that Starrygazy pie Mapleleaf?
It's a long time since I bought any Fidgets.
I am shattered this morning, H has been awake roaming the house most of the night so, like us all have had morethan and her family on my mind a lot.

Lilypops you can read about morethan and the terrible time she and her family are having on the Health thread "Scared she's not coming home".

Good morning. Dull weather in Lancashire. I am going to a funeral today, very sad occasion.
Enjoy your day everyone, make the most of it if you can.
Thoughts for morethan and family (((hugs))).

Yes, annsixty, I think you are right, in which case, I don't know what fidgety pie is. ??

I think fidget pie is made with pork, bacon, apples and cider.
Dull here in Birmingham, but I am catching up with washing and paperwork, and doing my Italian homework for this afternoon ( my mother used to call me “last- minute- Annie”.) looking forward to Italian group this afternoon, but keep getting sidetracked by the book I am reading “The Long Take” by Robin Robertson. Absolutely riveting!

Lilypops, yes Fidget pie is made with a shortcrust pastry case, filled with ham/pork, apples, cheese and cider, topped with mustard mash. It is a dish of left overs really, so that is what we are having tonight. I saw it on a re-run of Escape to the Country, and thought, I can do that. We'll see later on. I believe The Hairy Bikers have a recipe.
Stargazy pie is made with, I think pilchards, and is a Cornish dish.
