Big hugs for Grannygravy

The duvet was up round my ears last night.....it's the sudden temperature drop from one day to the next. Our bodies are getting confused.

Good morning all from a bright and slightly breezy South Yorkshire. ?

Auntieflo Sat 25-Aug-18 09:36:45

Morning Michael, and all who are here already. Annie, I see you have beaten me, again. I am getting/have got lazier. Grannygravy sending all good wishes and prayers for your daughter. Kitty sorry to hear about your roof, but sounds as though the kittens enjoyed their paddle. Hope MrK can sort it for you. After being envious of my neighbours kitchen, I feel an uge to paint at least one of the walls, but not just yet. It is another beautiful bright, sunny and slightly chilly day here. No duvet yet, but a soft fleece over the duvet cover, last night, cosy!
Won't be venturing into Reading, with all the great unwashed visiting Reading Festival.
Enjoy your weekend one and all.

gillybob Sat 25-Aug-18 09:24:51

Higher tog duvet ? Are you joking annsixty? I’m still sleeping out of the covers with a fan on me !

annsixty Sat 25-Aug-18 09:19:23

Good morning all.
Has anyone else thought of getting a higher tog duvet out yet.
It is usually a couple of months away for me.
Good luck with the roof kitty
Hope the weather is kind to all getting a break away from home.
My very best and kindest vibes coming to you Grannygravy
A hard day for you all.

Good morning everyone from a sunny Essex by the sea, not sure how warm it is though. A quick look around the shops then to a birthday lunch for OH's youngest daughter.
GrannyGravy13 hope all goes well for your daughter flowers. I hope you all have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.

gillybob Sat 25-Aug-18 08:57:24

Oh how awful for your DD GrannyGravy . I’m not surprised your tummy is doing somersaults I think mine would be too. I’m sure all will be fine but do come back and resassure us all later on (if you get chances course). Thinking of you and your DD today. smile

Marydoll Sat 25-Aug-18 08:57:01

GrannyGravy13 flowers

GrannyGravy13 Sat 25-Aug-18 08:51:52

Good morning everyone, bright and sunny in SE Essex only 13' so not overly warm.
I am a nervous wreck my daughter has just gone into theatre for a big operation, have been told she will be there for at least 4 hours.
Cannot settle, tummy doing somersaults I do not want to let on to other family members how worried I am as I know they are worried themselves.

Sorry for unburdening to you, but I had to tell someone.

Greyduster Sat 25-Aug-18 08:35:37

ginny I hope you enjoy the NMA as much as we did earlier this year - blown away by it!

Anniebach Sat 25-Aug-18 08:31:55

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

harrigran Sat 25-Aug-18 08:31:40

Good morning from a sunny NE, temperature in single figures.
Must shop today and stock fridge, family returning from holiday. It took DD ten hours to drive from Kent and she is not amused. The joys of bank holiday weekends, we avoid them like the plague.
Hope you get your roof sorted kitty and it is not a mega bucks job ?

aggie Sat 25-Aug-18 08:29:48

Good Morning all , just rolled out of bed to check .... It is bright but decidedly chilly here in Co Armagh . I put the washing on last night , so going to chance it out on the line now ?
