Good Morning Saturfday

Morning Mick, morning all.

It's bright and chilly in north Leicestershire and there was a fabulous red sky when I first got up.

We had torrents of rain yesterday afternoon and evening - a lot of it in the hall. The kittens were enthralled.

Not much happening today apart from sending dh up to find where the leak is coming from and hoping he can patch it until the roof man can come.

A sunny but cool start to the day here on the south coast and it's forecast to be much the same today.

DH is off with his bike club so I have a day to potter and catch up on little jobs that have been on the back burner. I intend to do them - promise!

Hope the hole in the roof is not too bad kitty and Mr kitty is safe up there!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Why not try and get a mix of both fresh air and TV Mick. Shame to waste the sunshine while we still have it! Kitty, I hope Mr L manages to find the leak and that it’s fixable! We had water pouring into our hall last year and it’s no joke!
Some exercise is on the cards for us today. It should be dry here most of the day. With it being Bank Holiday weekend we won’t be going very far though. Have a good day folks.

Morning All

A bright sunny start again today. Dogs are both flat out after a long walk yesterday before the deluge arrived here last evening. They let me sleep in until six this morning before demanding breakfast as we didn’t get home from our friends 70th Do until well after midnight.

Nothing much planned for today. May go back to sleep now.

Breezy and sunny here today in Glasgow, but I suspect it is actually quite cool outside.
Taking it easy today, as I have coughed all night, a side effect of the medication I received on Wednesday. Like everything else it shall pass.
DH is painting the utility room today. I wonder how long it will be until World War Three breaks out.?. He is the messiest workman ever.?️, but cannot understand why I get so annoyed.
Kitty, I hope you find the leak and there isn't too much damage.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Grandsons stayed overnight and 2 year old is still asleep! Back to their house for a barbeque later. Will need a cardigan for the first time in ages.

From the gap in the curtains it looks dull out there. I'm still in bed so not sure.
H will be cooking a small breckie then he's off to the local flower n veg show. I doubt he will win anything but it keeps him happy.

Sunny in Swansea this morning. Been awake for ages. Blow dry and lunch out with my daughter and her friend later. Up now to pack some EBay sales. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. It feels chilly here this morning, have got my dressing gown on plus a pair of fluffy socks !! lol.
There are patches of blue sky appearing but still a lot of grey cloud.
Forcast is fine for this time of year, no rain but defo a change in our recent temperatures, we have been spoilt, now back to normal. Shopping then bowling this afternoon.Have a great Bank Holiday W/end everyone.

Morning Mick, Morning All. Sunny, breezy start in our corner of Somerset. Off for a beach walk while it’s quiet, plan a bacon sandwich overlooking the coast. Why not a mix of sun and cycling, mick, shame not to enjoy good weather. Oh dear kitty, that’s not fun. Hope your husband isn’t accident prone and the leak is easily sorted. Mr C is banned from heights, if it’s possible to trip or fall he will. He’s also a very messy decorator marydoll, so my sympathies, I deal with it by going out, can’t bear to watch. Right, off I go. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone, stay safe.

Enjoy the cycling Mick I am anticipating the tennis in New York which starts later this month. Aren’t we lucky to be able to watch the sport from all over the world in the comfort of our our homes ?

Sorry you are feeling unwell Mary can you put your feet up with a good book and ask DH to keep quiet whilst he is decorating ?

Poor you Kitty your weather sounds like a deluge. ??

Nothing too much planned except we are going to the charity book shop to give in a number of books. DH was horrified at the Tip yesterday when he saw a woman about to throw all these perfectly good modern books into one of the skips. He asked her if he could have them, hence our trip to where they should have been left in the first place. I’m sure we will fit in coffee and cake too afterwards.

Good Morning everyone, lovely and sunny here today in NE Fife, nice to see the sun again. Getting the holiday rail down from the attic in preparation for our hols on Thursday. DH takes longer to decide what he is taking away with him. Sorry to hear you've been unwell Marydoll but you are doing the right thing, have an easy day. Perhaps DH will surprise you and not make a mess. Enjoy your day all.

`Morning all and yes decidely parky here on the west coast in Wales..........though at least dry and bright,looking good for our holidaymakers who continued pouring in all day yesterday.

Enjoyed my hair do and looking human again,and out of the 2 Apartments viewed yesterday one is a definate no.........the other looking promising.

I know someone else whom will be semi glued to the TV watching the cycling Mick!

Every sympathy Kitty .......not the nicest thing to happen and lets hope you have no further rain......until its sorted.

I do feel for you with your coughing during the night Marydoll ..........althpough not coughing myself another sleepless night, so not firing on all cylinders this morning!

Good morning from a bright and sunny Black Country, after heavy rain yesterday, which is much needed for our garden! I think you should have some time out today Mick as this could be the last of our summer!

Just making a start on packing today for our trip to Krakow, only taking hand luggage as we are only going for 3 days, so shouldn't take too long

Good morning everyone. It is a really clear blue sky we have this morning, first for quite a while so a lovely view of The Ochils. Chilly mind. kitty fingers crossed not too much damage. Cooking planned for today in prep for a few days away in the caravan tomorrow. OH is at football this aft, looking forward to a couple of hours with the house to myself, it's been a while. Good morning from a sunny NE, temperature in single figures.
Must shop today and stock fridge, family returning from holiday. It took DD ten hours to drive from Kent and she is not amused. The joys of bank holiday weekends, we avoid them like the plague.
Hope you get your roof sorted kitty and it is not a mega bucks job ?

Good morning everyone, bright and sunny in SE Essex only 13' so not overly warm.
I am a nervous wreck my daughter has just gone into theatre for a big operation, have been told she will be there for at least 4 hours.
Cannot settle, tummy doing somersaults I do not want to let on to other family members how worried I am as I know they are worried themselves.
