My late husband used to sing it each morning to make sure his hearing aid was working.

Well I must admit I have never heard many of these songs. Clearly mg education is lacking. Two that I do remember and like are Windmills of your mind and The sound of silence.

As for the funny ones, I used to love the Bubble car song and also 3 wheels on my wagon.

My choices would be :

Most of my favourites are from the Beatles. Eg Eleanor Rigby, or She's leaving home which makes me go moist eyed.

Jalima used to love Bubble Car song on Childrens Favourites, Saturday morning.( a few years ago)

Hello muddah hello faddah. Oh its good to have a laugh reading some of these. I do wish I had a button like on fb where you could choose like, sad face, laugh etc.

I am off to see the King and I in London in a couple of weeks Pollyperkins. I LOVE this musical. Wish that I could have seen it when Yul Brynner was the star in the 60's. (He was one of the most gorgeous bald men ever ) ?.
I love all of the songs from that show.

misadventure Don’t Jump off the Roof reminded me of another bygone:

King and I takes a lot of beating. Something Wonderful and I Have Dreamed are two of my all time favourites.
