kind action

I remember DH having a nasty car accident over 35 years ago. A colleague drove him home going about 20 miles out of his way. When thanked he said he once had fallen off his motorbike and he couldn't see his helpers who took care of him until the ambulance arrived etc.
Two years later DH had another serious accident. A witness took him to her home so he could phone me, and then she too drove 25 miles to get him home. Another colleague on seeing the wrecked car called me to check that DH was OK, and offered a lift for me to the hospital if required.
I try to carry on the acts of kindness.

My sixteen year old Grandson was in the UK with me recently, and afterwards his Mum told me he had forgotten to buy anything for her partner, he had bought for Mum and not him, he had bought large packs of crisps with small packets in, in Poundland for him and his friends, but instead he gave the big pack to his Mums partner, I dont know if he was given any back I am sure he was, but what a kind gesture from a sixteen year old,there is hope for the younger generation! I am proud of my Grandson.

My daughter was in the hairdressers DGS had a haircut appointment, when a very harassed women rushed in half hour late for her little girls appt because her baby was teething and fretting. My daughter said to go in front of her as she could see the poor woman was at the end of her rope. They did and then pai and left . After DGS’ s cut when daughter went to pay she was told the woman had paid her bill as well for letting her go first.

I have so enjoyed reading this thread, such a wonderful collection of stories about the many goodhearted people we all meet in our lives.
