Cliquey

Thinking on it I don’t think a clique or gang is right for me, well I a not right for them. I have been on so many committees and in discussion groups and caused problems, think I will remain a free spirit, a polite way of saying I have the gift of going against the majority, I blame this on being left handed !

There's no hope for me then Annie. I was left handed, but was persuaded to become right handed. Ambidextrous, that's me.

As one who was mentioned some time ago by username in a national newspaper as the leading and most prolific poster in a "clique" which had criticised someone on GN, I would like to apply for membership of your exclusive gang. I promise not to be too prolific and I won't try to lead you anywhere unless you were heading off in that direction anyway and I happen to be at the front of the pack.

I think the word "Clique" is a posh word for "gang"

I’m back from a restorative walk with the dogs, after the News almost gave me a headache. El Gran , my plan today is to try and avoid being too philosophical. My shallow response therefore is yes we can (thanks Mr Obama for that).

That's shocking Elegran. I remember there were a few worries like that a year or 2 ago and that's why I changed my username. It used to be my own first name.
I would also like to join the Gang. My qualifications are that I was leader of a Gang of Four when I was about 11. It was a Dare Gang. We also organised girls vs boys fights, which the girls always won.
But I'm not expecting to be involved in that kind of thing now. Hopefully.

It is cliquey. It is bound to be when people are regulars and know each other and go to meet ups. I come on occasionally - can never remember who anyone is and have no intention of ever meeting anyone and I keep out of things like Soop's Kitchen. It suits me the way I use it. If you feel unhappy I expect the answer is to be a regular and attend the area meeting to become part of the clique.

Bikergran, I did knock door and run away a long time ago. Unfortunately, I ran round the side of the lady's house, straight into the arms of my MOTHER. I never did it again.?
