Its raining!! ☔

Nothing in Mid Norfolk

Nothing in North Norfolk either.

Only a brief heavy shower in my bit of the West Midlands. I so enjoyed the sound of rain pattering on leaves and the wonderful smell of rain.

SE Essex dry as a well picked bone!!

It did not last long in NW London

Thunder and lightning and then a brief deluge here in Cheshire. Smells like there may be more rain to come. Fingers crossed.

Nothing in Suffolk

Nothing in our part of Dorset either, the Met office must of dreamt of the thunderstorms we were forecast!

Rain all last night and this morning in the North West.
Hi Chewbacca nice to hear about someone else who can also smell when it is going to rain.

Nothing here in Surrey. Hope we don't have any tomorrow we are going to the local fete which is usually excellent. It's my birthday on Monday so hope we don't have any then either

Well we were told to expect heavy rain and thunderstorms this evening here on the NE coast but it’s very warm , calm, almost cloudless and zero rain .

Slight shower here in South Yorks as we set off for the shopping yesterday - washed the windscreen then stopped. All the grass is dead everywhere you look.

Nothing in east Dorset or in Sussex

Its now Saturday, no sign of rain at all in Essex.

Not a single drop in the NE and it’s a beautiful morning again, so I think the forecasters may have got it wrong.

Oops it missed us................again ....................so we are either very highly thought of or simply abandoned on this desert like wasteland!!!
The nearest thing to rain we have it in MANY Weeks are a few dark clouds above..............

Same here in Mid Wales, it keeps missing us too Panache

Same here in W Kent/SE London. The Met app gave a yellow warning for thunderstorms over the area, but they missed us. Even a few drops would be better than nothing. When did we last have such a long, dry, hot spell? I can’t remember one lasting this long.

Still dry in East Suffolk. We could hear the Latitude music wafting across the fields last night, so although we need the rain, I hope it stays dry for them over the weekend.

I have never known Wimbledon to be dry for the entire fortnight- maybe I speak too soon!

My phone weather forecast says rain this afternoon (Suffolk). That would be typical as we have the Summer Fun day at our community centre this afternoon!

We had ten drops in Lincolnshire yesterday.

Had some more rain during the night but probably only a few drops
No puddles!

Our local nature reserve is now just cracked mud.
Where there is water it is a blanketed with horrible algae.
The poor water fowl are struggling, many have youngsters in tow

Would love some rain here in Teddington, it usually manages to miss us,something to do with the bend in the river I'm told. Hard work watering our allotment - no hoses just hand operated pumps! Gaeden very dry as well.

I've forgotten what a puddle looks like!
