Birthday Invitation

I hope there's cake. I'm not coming unless there's cake.

I don’t have a birthday in July, but I’m coming. I love a good ? ? ? party. I’ll bring some more fizz, there can never be enough of the stuff, especially with all you lot around. I’m going to wear my bestest dress and highest heels, but I’ll take them off for the conga, ‘cause of me bunion!!

Count me in! Beats the world cup! And no washing up! Look forward to raucous laughter, music, singing (not mine), dancing (not falling over!), mayhem and merriment! Never mind the neighbours! Can our rescue choccy Labrador 7 month old puppy join in too? You are all a great bunch of guys and gals! Roll on 12 July!

How could I forget for a lovely summer day.
I have ordered gallons of Pimms and fruity bits and "lashings of lemonade".
That might keep us sober for a bit longer.?

Look forward to joining the party for my 83rd but there won't be any kicking up a storm as just recovering from hip replacememt. Luckily all going well.

I shall wear a hat with corks around the edge. Nothing else - just that?. But first, in order to get enough corks, I will have to open a lot of bottles and drink the contents. Don’t wait for me - I could be some time!

I can't beleive I missed out on the germolene dress......just looked on sale pages and there are plenty more amazing styles to choose from . Can't wait for the party...I'll bring a "hedgehog" with cheese and pineapple on sticks

You can't be serious! Depends on whether any other Grandads are coming. If none then it would be dead easy if I could wear my birthday suit, but that's been ruled out for fear of starting a stampede.
I'll still be wearing it, but camouflaged by sackcloth and ashes if England crash.
Otherwise look for a tall handsome fair-haired (virtual) gentleman, what speaks proper like and not a hint of Strine! Yes, I've still got my own hair!
Only 2 sleeps left! The big match starts at midnight Saturday, so do I stay up to watch it"live" and risk spending Sunday slumped "non compos mentis' under the drinks table regardless of who wins.?
Not to worry, I'll be another year more mature and wiser.

BTW a Google search confirms I emerged into the world on a "Friday" and as we all know;

It was my birthday 2 weeks ago. It largely went unnoticed so I'd love to join the knees up please??

And I make a mean sausage roll ?.
I will wear a beautiful dress I bought in Next, floaty in a gorgeous rust colour ?

Well, apparently as a Thursday child I have far to go

And how will I know when I get there?
Or, more worryingly ( is that a word) have I already been there and not realised it?

I think I’ll just concentrate on this birthday party and worry about mine in August. As you might have guessed, purely as a quality control issue, I have sampled the fizz just to be sure........

And I went off beer from the fridge a long time ago when Spike Milligan described it as
"Cryogenic Mouth-Wash"

The cake is 4 feet tall rufus as there seem to be a fair number of party goers and we don’t want to run out, some like to take cake home with them too.

Definitely wearing a hat but not telling yet which one. I will be making ice cream floats for everyone, with a choice of ice cream flavours and cream soda or fizzy lemon. Definitely paper parasols in the ice cream floats. No gin until after 5 pm.

Ooh candles or those sparkly fireworks? Or both?

I was thinking of a firework display but I've just been on the annoying neighbours thread.

So I will release a couple of my doves instead.

I have hired some big strong guys as bouncers. I am a little concerned if any of our members could be tempted to chat them up. ??‍♀️?
