Good Morning Everyone,
Its nice clear blue sky this morning over Brackley , yet another warm day in prospect.
Wish it would rain.

Except I didn’t today as I didn’t realise it was the first of July!
Nfk; Shame an you! I guess you didn't say "Black Rabbit" the previous evening either! But I'm quite sure you will only have "good" luck. grin
Thank you for your comment. We are rather surprised and disappointed at the lack of responses! I imagined that we would get to learn of many variations across the country in the same way that dialects vary so much. Dr. Google, of course, says it all, but we were hoping to establish a more "personal" contact with the "natives" to discuss the superstition. However, not to be, apparently. sad
Interests must be elsewhere, such as the World Cup or carrying on about flabby, male torsos or even the weather! wink
Good Health and Good Luck

rufus if you want a response to a totally different subject than the one you responded to , it might be a good idea to start a new thread.

it might be a good idea to start a new thread.
Oopsadaisy;
Thanks for that! Sounds like "a good idea", except that some time ago, when I was a "Newbie" (still am), there was a general purpose posting, from GNHQ I believe, advising of the confusion inherent in starting new threads. My ears are still smarting! sad
Rather than become a nervous wreck, I thought it best to stick to the straight and narrow, i.e. current thread, and suffer the consequencies, regardless of whether or not responses are forthcoming.
So, thank you for your advice; duly noted. smile
Good Health
