Just gone in shower with my hearing aids in!!!!!!

Leaped out, pulled batteries out (on grounds that if there is no power source, they cannot short circuit) and dried them diligently with a tissue - and they are working!!!!!

Anyone else done this??

No, but I have jumped in a swimming pool wearing my rather nice non-waterproof watch given by my MIL.
It was fine!
