Good Morning Mick, Nana, BlueBelle Maw and all!

The sun is up and shining brightly here on the south coast. We are going to watch"big Lizzie" the new aircraft carrier come into Portsmouth Harbour at 8.45am this morning. She will get a big welcome as usual I am sure.

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A hot one in prospect for South Yorkshire. We are going over to DDs today to stay with GS while his parents take part in a run, then we will all have lunch and, I suppose, there will inevitably be football. Gaga I would love to be where you are this morning - it would be a great thrill to see that. Have a good day folks.

Good morning all from a North Leicestershire that is already bright and sunny.

We had a lovely time at DD1'S yesterday with all the family but I couldn't get to sleep till 4am so I feel like nothing on earth.

Good Morning everyone.

Started the day well with a mug of coffee all over the kitchen floor - which is one way to ensure the floor gets mopped I suppose.

Good morning all, a sunny start in Glasgow.
Bits and bobs today, Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Baggs Sun 24-Jun-18 07:59:34

Morning, folks! My second brekkie was a salted caramel ice-cream (Sunday treat!) and a mug of tea.

Check out the bloke wearing a red Louis Vuitton outfit in Sunday Times pictures today (I think it's the 11th pic in the series). Would that more men dressed like this instead of the universal drab ?, though not necessarily with the Vuitton label!

Good Morning All! A bright start here in South London - I've watered all my patio pots already because if I don't do them first thing they won't get done. My husband and I are off to our local bowls club (where we are social members) this lunch time to watch the England game. Such a great atmosphere to watch football in a crowd and even greater if they win!! grin
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning to you all...........and yes a sizzler for sure!!!

Our very busy road nearby has told us that very many folk are taking full advantage of this weather and have headed down to our many coves nearby.............I can guess this area will be packed like sardines whilst everyone is eager to enjoy..............and who can blame them?!!

The pigeons coo-ing at 5.am was more than enough "music" for us this morning..............at least we enjoyed an early sunrise!

Hope the day is one of peace and pleasure for you all.

Greyduster Sun 24-Jun-18 08:11:53

Yes Baggs but perhaps with sleeves that don’t fall halfway down his hands and boots that make him look like he’s come out of a Frankenstein film!!

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Off to Aldi as soon as they open then home for the football and tennis.
The seaside might not be as busy as you think because more people watched the last England match than watched the Royal wedding. .....the pubs will be full though!

harrigran Sun 24-Jun-18 08:27:52

Good morning, yet another overcast morning.
Quiet day for me with the newspapers.

ginny Sun 24-Jun-18 08:33:02

Another bright and sunny Goid Morning from N. Bucks.
Group of ‘girls’ coming today to scrapbook. Lots of chat and laughter and a bit of cake too.
Enjoy the sun if you have it.

lemongrove Sun 24-Jun-18 08:36:37

Good morning from what promises to be another hot sunny day in Oxfordshire, blue sky ,birds tweeting, a beautiful Summer day.
Packing this morning for a little break away, with no internet, so hunting down good books to read and crossword puzzles.
Have a good week fellow GNers, hope the sun shines for you.☀️

Morning All

And a beautiful morning it is too in the north of Norfolk. I’m so glad DH, DS and DGS were able to go for a sail yesterday as there’s not a breath of wind this morning.

We’ve booked a plasterer to level our Artex ceilings next week. DH put him off until Wednesday to give himself time to clear the room. Needless to say - it’s all done apart from the TV! I’m going to text to see if he can come earlier.

Superb pictures Baggs. Yes, a bit of colour would be nice. That poor model looks like he could do with a good dinner. A few suet dumplings perhaps, then he’d fill the suit out properly.

Good morning? sunny here on Dorset coast.
I am still recovering from my two operations, so not back yet to sunny Sussex? But I can’t complain, I am lucky to have two lovely areas to hang out in until I get well.
DD1 is planning a family BBQ this afternoon. 2 of my 3 AC live here, and 3 of my 5 DGC so it will be a lively day??

Yiayia4 Sun 24-Jun-18 08:55:30

Good Evening Mick and all earlybirds!
Awoke at 6a.m.; Cold, dark and 3C, felt like minus 3C. Had to arise for a compulsory pit-stop (!), straight back to bed and slept like a (good) baby until 8.30. Not being "churchy" my prayers for a cup ,of tea were not answered, so had to arise again to get one myself.
Poor me! sad Never mind; looking forward to the Poms giving it to Panama this evening. Good fodder for night-owls! grin
Cheers and Good Health
