Grandson wants to go on holiday with his boyfriend

Why are some of you being so quick to pick up on the spelling errors? We all know what the op is asking. We all know, too, that these iPads, etc, have a mind of their own.

Its weird to me that his sexual orientation seems to be the thing that is making you concerned about whether he should go on holiday or not, Nannyoffour. What difference does it make if he's gay or not? If this was a 14 year old girl going on holiday with her 16 year old bf and his family what would you say? I'd be having a chat with the other boys parents about how they will be keeping your GS safe in ALL ways, especially if they plan to travel overseas. Lemongrove - totally inappropriate comment.
Some posters seem to think that he's too young to know that he's gay - I certainly knew my sexual orientation! Yes, some people change but going on holiday with a bf when you're 14 whether you are a boy or a girl doesn't mean that's it, done, no going back!

I don’t think the fact that he is gay is the issue, I wouldn’t let a 14 yo girl go away on holiday with her 16 yo boyfriend and his family, so I wouldn’t let my son go either regardless of his sexual preferences.

The moment I saw the OP I had to resist an overwhelming urge to remind grannyoffour to ensure that the correct footwear was packed; preferably plimsolls, but Ugg boots if they're cheap to buy right now.

Whilst it is always good to take posts at face value, we do sometimes have sort of recurrent themes which raise alarm bells!

OK, so as not to inflate the thing, maybe not an alarm bell ringing, perhaps more of a faint tinkle from an alarm clock whose batteries have almost run out.
