I think the point in the first one is about not living in each other's pockets. I know you now have no choice Ann, but I bet it's not always been like that!

In an article in the DT the author claims that a man was asked what the secret was as he and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The secret is,he said, to go out for supper once a week. Enjoy good food, good wine and sweet music.
So she goes on Tuesday and I go on Thursday.
Well it made me chuckle.
