I use all the gears in my car and I have driven in France, round the Arc de Triumphe (how ever I spell that looks wrong and the computer doesn't recognise any spelling either), towing a camping trailer! I didn't do it on purpose and I cried afterwards!!

I have not cleaned this cooker ever but I've only had it 12 years or so. I know a very nice man who does clean it about once a year though.

Respect kitty! Apparently drivers are not insured when they go round the A de T (see what I did there?) as there are so many prangs.

When my mother was alive and I can tell you she was a very difficult woman, if I said something was black, to her it was white, I used to keep a bottle of sherry in a dark corner of the kitchen.
I had to drink it out of a teacup so she didn't catch me with a sherry glass.
Some days I got through quite a lot.
I never drink it now.

I have six gears and love it, feels very satisfying but don't tend to change down through them all so go to third when appropriate!

That's what I do Menopaws ever since I heard a man on the radio say that modern cars allow you to swap into any of the gears without going through the ones in between.

I can do most things that GN's have admitted to being unable to do. I'm an excellent reverse parker, I think nothing of driving hundreds of miles to places I've never visited without the aid of a sat nav which I have anyway just in case of emergencies, I change my own oil, pump up my own tyres, cook, decorate, do lots of repairs around the house, keep a good eye on my finances, and I'm a mother too and with a husband who is an excellent handyman ... but I've never told anyone, I hate the smell of babies. I really can't stand the smell of baby milk, or baby lotions and talc, it actually repulses me, so whenever any new mum asks if I want to hold their baby or god forbid, feed it.., I have to make an excuse, like I have a cold or something so, they don't think I'm a baby hater per se... it's just the smell, it makes me retch..

My car has an automatic gearbox. I only use drive and reverse. DH says I should use the gear options too. If I wanted to change gear I wouldn’t have an automatic !

I only have a cooker because every kitchen should have one. I make pretty adventurous salads though ?!!!

I once heard about a job from someone who was intending to go for it, but I phoned up first and got it. Very shameful! I also used to smack one of my sons who was very willful. Nowadays I suppose that would not be right at all.

Cruise control, my husband keeps banging on about it, never used it.
I once went home from the shop and left my new baby in the pram outside. Very different days then

Can’t stand cruise control, so ignore it, do use six gears but which one I change down to from sixth is a bit of a lottery .

@Kitty on our honeymoon in a1945mgtc we drove round the Arc de Triomphe and the French deserve not to be insured! They were leaning out of car windows,standing up through sun roofs or in open cars taking photos of us. It was very disconcerting and I wasn't driving just navigating.

My shameful secret was selling our house whilst drunk and wearing a see through nightie (got full asking price).
Only estate agent new as buyer told her, husband was away with work. Did have very large dog to protect me.

Gone from 6 gears to 5 and sometimes forget and try to put it in reverse - oops I can change a plug and decorate (well not any more) but am ashamed that my fridge doesn't get cleaned enough or the oven. Also ashamed of the amount of stuff I buy online that languishes in cupboards as I never go anywhere

My car is automatic so it uses all the gears but, in my manual days, DH would never have let me get away with pootling round in 4th. I have driven on the right but can't manage with a left hand drive car. Have always been able to change a plug. However don't ever look in my oven
