Unicorns and butterflies

Well I've just looked up 'unicorn' in Collins English Dictionary and it says a two-horned animal, thought to be either the rhinoceros or the aurochs (Deuteronomy 33:17): mistranslation in the Authorized Version of the original Hebrew So, if it's in The Bible, it must be true eh?

My little pony is most welcome - as long as it doesn't attempt to introduce a contentious posting. That cannot be allowed under any circumstances as GNs are all very delicate flowers who are unable to withstand the slings and arrows of robust debate.

I have a dragon in my garden , as I post this i can see him clearly ,expect he wants to watch Wales v Australia rugby union

Have you adopted him Annie. He could prove to be a good deterrent against burglars (although you may need a very large litter tray)

No problem house training him, he is Welsh , a lovely shade of red

Unicorns and butterflies do not mix well with each other, the unicorns skewer them with their horns or trample on them.

Dragons are useful for starting up a nice log fire in the house, but tend to take over the sofa.

I do not reccommend them as a pet.

lemongrove do be careful what you write as your comments could be classed as unicornism. Whilst it may be true that some unicorns skewer and trample butterflies not all can be said to do so.

I am proud of my unicornism, and am definitely prejudiced about dragons.Just sayin’

Yes they are Jalima they whizz about annoyingly and land in my bacardi and coke! They must be banned.

My unicorn is a left wing bisexual mixed race liberal. He's been known to make politically incorrect comments to dragons. I've sent him for retraining.

Well I do know there were some humpy back camels and some chimpanzees.
And even some long neck geese but no Unicorns

However in October DH and I stumbled across a bush beside a busy road that was covered in painted lady and red admiral butterflies.
It was an evergreen with no flowers so I can't think what the attraction could be unless they were laying next years caterpillar eggs.
