H wears short style PJ bottoms which aren't visible under his dressing gown, so I'll give him the benifit of the doubt, brave move though.
We live near a smallish student town so I'm quite used to seeing strange sights but, today while stuck in traffic, I watched a chap come out of what looked like a student house in his dressing gown and slippers (no obvious pyjamas) and walk about quarter of a mile to Domino's, buy a pizza and walk back!
