Why do I always seem to open new packs of medication at the end with the leaflet folded over so you can't get at meds without removing it? I've tried to open them with the packet wording facing the right way.....result, the leaflet. I've tried opening them with packet wording upside down......result, the leaflet.

What tells you it's a slow day for news in my life? I really need to get out more..........

Throw the leaflet away and if you MUST read the details google the medication. The self same leaflet usually appears there though to be honest when I have read them the side effects usually seem to be the same as what they are supposed to be curing!

I always thought they did it on purpose in the hope that people would take the leaflet out first and read it.

I always read the leaflet, but not all the side effects are on it.

About six years ago I was prescribe steroids. I noticed some odd symptoms afterwards and checked the leaflet. Nothing appropriate was listed. I googled the possible side effect and the first thing every site said was that it was a side effect caused by taking steroids. Nothing serious, I kept taking them and lived with the mild side effects but it has made me very cynical about those leaflets.
