Logged in to todays GN and one of the suggested recipes for today is Shepherds Pie. Well that's just gone in the oven, as one if the granddaughters is visiting later, and, best bit, bringing great granddaughter , hooray .

Here you go, Greenfinch: dinner ideas. They're in the newsletter during the week too.
Hope the great- and granddaughter loved your shepherds pie, Auntieflo!

Hi Greenfinch, I see Lara got there before me. When you first log in to GN on the front page and scroll down, there are suggestions. DH peeled our potatoes as well, and the shepherds pie was good, thanks. I was a bit apprehensive as GD went to Pru Leith school of cookery and her partner is a chef!!! We did enjoy cuddles with greatgranddaughter, she is a poppet, such a happy little person.
Congratulations Greenfinch on your new grandson.
Lara, GGD had her own lunch, but did taste a bit if grandad's potato topping. smile
