How far back you go depends on who you are. If you'Jacob Rees-Mogg you'd go bach to the 1840's, or maybe 40AD.

And I think it is a 'well known fact' that most of the older Brexiteers want us to go back to the 1950s. I have conversations on another forum with some who were little boys then and they are not ashamed to say that is exactly what they want.

OK; if I eat one a day they should last for about a fortnight.

Why would we get rid of animal welfare, the NHS, etc watermeadow? That's the British bit. Everyone knows Eastern Europeans have the mega farms, the French ignore animal welfare legislation, and none of them have the NHS.

Actually I doubt being out will make much difference in my bit of the Back of Beyond. Only the big farming estates owned by insurance companies and such benefit from automatic EU payouts and that goes to shareholders not the farms.

I've got an olive tree in my garden Jalima and I think this year the olives may ripen!! They're a bit small though.

And olive oil will be returned to its proper place; the chemist's shelf, where it will be dispensed for those with troublesome ear wax. Cooking will be with lard. Real chip pans, none of this safe electric fryer nonsense, give us back control of our good old fashioned chip pan fires!
