I'm another who forgets hers are on her head. Or if they've been there a while it feels as if they still are so I'll reach for them only to discover they are on the table.

I have done similar. I put my glasses on my head and forget they're there.
Once, I ended up with two pairs on, and was having terrible blurred vision, and literally seeing double. blush

This may give the Gransnet a giggle, I got up in the morning and put on my glasses, after a short while I said to my husband, I am not feeling to good this morning my eyes feel a bit blurred. He suggested I had breakfast and see if that was the reason.
I went through the normal routine of breakfast, taking dog for a walk but everything still did not look as clear as normal, thinking to myself I would have to go back to opticians and get eyes checked again. I then came back home and needed to go to the toilet took my glasses off and washed my hands and checked my eyes if a hair was in them or not and then put my glasses back on. Miracle my eyes were OK - I had been wearing my husbands glasses and not realized it neither had he. What a relief that there was nothing wrong except being a bit stupid.
