THAT wedding!

Well, what did we think?
Pippa looked beautiful, but how thin is she?
Big sister Kate looked very elegant and competent shushing those little page boys and flower girls. Not stealing the bride's thunder either which was nice. But what WERE those little boys wearing? confused And was little George really giving a 2 fingered salute? Or picking his nose?
Carole looked lovely, clearly pink is the in colour this year, I could wish some of the other guests had got the memo! What a motley crew they were! Including Roger Federer in a lounge suit with a double breasted waistcoat looking as if he had left the rest of his morning dress in the hotel.
Whew, now that's over we can get back to Chelsea Flower Show.
I wonder if the Bucklebury glass "marquee" doubles as a greenhouse? Monty Don, eat your heart out!

Maw, im not into your post, I can however post back, and I'm also not into any form of arugunet with you. I don't get people that have to ask whether the dress was full of lace or not, the girls were fat or thin (big piss off to be honest, how dare you) etc. ridiculous.

I can say i think your post was shite though.

shock <yawn>

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:16:16

It was "their" day and not yours. I wish them every happiness.

Why on earth are you posting a link?
It was their day, they had to allow media in. People like you are pretty sad.

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:21:12

I really don't care what anyone else does, i also don't need to post about it. get over yourself. get a life.

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:23:30

If you have to "study" it and say derogatory things about who was thin etc. you actually need to get a life. Pathetic!

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 22:27:10

Who is, as you say, "studying" anything?
A harmless post about what was in the news today.
For someone so eager to NOT take an interest, you seem to be taking up a lot of column inches to express your entire lack of interest.
Moi?
Agog with indifference.

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:36:48

Ouch.. Maw, you're "interest" was pretty negative. Not sure about column inches, haven't measured. I am however allowed to pick up on bad behaviour whether it be a chat post or not.

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:40:20

They aren't even royal. People like you make my blood boil. Get a life!

mcem Sun 21-May-17 22:41:06

Oh dear, maw this might be seen as an arugunet if you're not careful!

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 22:44:05

Pippa looking beautiful ✔️
Duchess of Cambridge's dress (elegant) ✔️
MOB's outfit ✔️
Little page boys gold knickerbockers hmm
Roger Federer hmm
Other guests ?

How do you construe that as negative and in any case, are we not entitled to an opinion??
But as you were clearly there as one of the privileged elect perhaps you feel, the hoi polloi should restrict themselves to forelock tugging.

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:44:53

arugunet? is that some sort of code? grin

mcem Sun 21-May-17 22:48:03

22.14.06 your word not mine!
Sorry to disappoint if you were looking for a conspiracy!

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:48:05

I just don't get the way people find the time to pick through a wedding that they didn't attend. Mind your own business. Get a life! stop trawling.

paddyann Sun 21-May-17 22:48:13

did they pay for all the police and security in attendance or was that courtesy of the taxpayer because the royals were there ?Its all that Downton Abbey type stuff ,it gets right up my nose, why would they hand out blue armbands to locala to give them " the right" to stand and watch ? Ridiculous and a bit OTT.Weddings by law have to be open affairs /events at least the church part does.If anyone has any reason...and all that.Cant lock the doors during the service just in case someone wants to stop it

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 22:48:23

Fear not mcem I don't get into arugunets if I can help it. But I see I am perceived as interesting(?) meaning negative (?)
you're interest
by someone who appears to be a dedicated "sleb" devotee, maybe even a royalist. tcrhmm

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 22:49:21

Who is "trawling" and for what, SAAK?

mcem Sun 21-May-17 22:50:08

Yes I've noted you're interest in the subject!

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 22:51:21

tcrgrin

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 22:55:20

I like the royal family.
I don't feel the need to comment who is fat for thin at a non royal wedding.
I don't feel the need to wonder who's dress was bought by who.
I do however think people that feel the need to do this are pretty sad.

I think that the poster is pretty sad and weird.

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 22:57:31

Who's wondering about whose dress ????
Sad ? Weird?
tcrhmmtcrconfused

stillaliveandkicking Sun 21-May-17 23:00:25

I just don't get it. Do you really nit pick that much? do you really get that involved?

MawBroon Sun 21-May-17 23:02:27

Involved in what??
Just tell me where in my OP I have been negative about the bride, her mum, her sister, the royal family or even the nanny??????
Please feel free to quote.

mcem Sun 21-May-17 23:05:29

Rambling ravings cos it's past wine o'clock?
