I have spoken to Ruby as in my mind (blame the heat) Ireally thought it was tomorrow she was being admitted but it is next Tuesday.
Anxiety building up now, it seems such a long wait for her.
She left A&E at 2:30 am as it was so busy and she was shattered, just sore now but no pain.

ann thank you zillions for making time to care for ruby in your so stressed life .

Swanny I'd hope to have Maggie at the side of me and I'm being chased by a rugged, toned, gorgeous young man! I've a lot to make up for! ?

I spoke to Ruby yesterday and she is feeling more ready now and just wants it over and done. Rather anxious about pain and tubes etc but who wouldn't be ?
I will ring her over the weekend and will keep you all in touch. She really does appreciate it.

Best wishes to ruby and some - and grapes if she is not nil by mouth in which case I will have to sit virtually by her bed and eat them myself (the very annoying visitor).

Been away on holiday just catching up. All the very best in your treatment and recovery Ruby ??

My friend has just been to take my little family to hers for a few days. I was fine until I came back in and then broke down, Maggie was wondering why she was in the car and I wasn't.

I have to phone in morning for a bed and hopefully be on the ward by two in the afternoon. Surgery first thing Wednesday.

It's a good job we have a cup of tea to depend on, the house feels bare now. Xxx
