Anyone who has noticed that she hasn't posted for a while might not be surprised to learn that she's unable to receive PMs.

We all know what that means.

I'm sure I've seen Wobblybits this morning, btw, Cherrytree59. Can't remember where though!

Ana Fri 13-Jan-17 15:24:43

With respect, Mumsy, you've been here for all of 6 months and some of us have known jingl for years.

Perhaps you didn't 'get' her but there's no need to be dismissive of another poster.

kittylester Fri 13-Jan-17 15:37:31

Quite, Ana! Most of us who 'knew' jings knew when to take her seriously and when to ignore her.

kittylester Fri 13-Jan-17 15:39:27

And, the same goes for other posters! Bit like real life really!!

Live and let live, I say, and if you don't like something, ignore it!

Stansgran Fri 13-Jan-17 15:51:03

Well I didn't work it out. Stumbles off to the dunce's corner

Me too.

thatbags Fri 13-Jan-17 16:10:45

So ignore them. Or read them and get tired, fed up, bored or pissed off. It's your free choice.

thatbags Fri 13-Jan-17 16:11:36

You can even make them longer by posting on them.

POGS Fri 13-Jan-17 16:24:39

that bags

Well you did say on another thread you were going to 'Write with Courage'. smile

merlotgran Fri 13-Jan-17 16:25:31

There are many threads on Gransnet that have been done over and over again. They bore me senseless so I don't go on them

I don't throw my weight around by expecting people not to post about anything I dislike though.

thatbags Fri 13-Jan-17 16:41:32

Pogs, yes well... wink people telling others that this or that bores them is awfly tarsome. One wonders why they don't realise they are adding to the boredom coefficient themselves while complaining about the boringness of other people's interests.

My dad always used to say: Nothing is boring; people are bored.

I'd prefer not to be labelled a bored person myself.

M0nica Fri 13-Jan-17 16:58:45

????????????

Alima Fri 13-Jan-17 17:06:41

Thanks for the update bags. To save the faffing about, boring thread, shouldn't be allowed, dived in not knowing the subject matter now thoroughly disgusted etc why not cut to the chase and have a Jingles thread. Simples. No room for contention then is there?

Ankers Fri 13-Jan-17 17:13:39

In my opinion
jingls must have done something terrible or ish to GNHQ or at them in some way. Or maybe they feel they just cannont handle her.
I presume someone or many people have done what kittylester has suggested and actually asked GNHQ?
If it is what I think it is, GNHQ would be unable to comment as it would break confidentiality. Though jingls could when next back, but I would hazard another guess that she wouldnt want to say either. Though if she did, it might clear the air all round?

Agree that DB should not have been treated in that way.

If memory serves me right, it was not DB who irritated granjura, was it [asked to a poster on this thread].

I see some of the clique are here in action, though they seem to be more low key than they were. And to be fair, they are not the worst clique I have ever come across by a long way.

Finally, what happened to Tegan?

kittylester Fri 13-Jan-17 17:20:30

Ankers could you specify who the clique are.

Ana Fri 13-Jan-17 17:23:58

Yes, please do, Ankers (another one who's only apparently been here for five minutes...hmm)

Ankers Fri 13-Jan-17 17:28:52

Elegran, Ana, merlotgran, glassortwo, thatbags, Galen.

Ankers Fri 13-Jan-17 17:29:33

downtoearth has been known to help out.

annsixty Fri 13-Jan-17 17:30:50

??? Meant to stay off this thread but that has baffled me.

Maggiemaybe Fri 13-Jan-17 17:31:19

Really? Where on earth do you get this information from? confused

Ana Fri 13-Jan-17 17:32:45

And where are the posts from glassortwo and Galen*? confused

Ana Fri 13-Jan-17 17:34:28

And Elegran...?

Elegran Fri 13-Jan-17 17:38:08

Clique? To be a clique you need to be sitting in a corner with your heads together talking about someone behind their back and making snide remarks about them.

If we say that we agree with someone, or post something that appears to agree, then it just means we have had the same thoughts. It could be that is because we have read the same things, understand what is being said and come to the same conclusions. No need to call those who reached the same conclusion a clique, that just shows that you don't think the same thing yourself. There is no conspiracy.

Someone else may come to a different conclusion. That is up to them. Some may find the logic that led to one conclusion or another is puzzling. Again, that is an individual thing, it varies from one person to another.

merlotgran Fri 13-Jan-17 17:39:34

I'm thrilled to find myself in a very elite clique. grin

Elegran Fri 13-Jan-17 17:41:34

Maggie " Where on earth do you get this information from?" Perhaps all these people have disagreed with Ankers at some time, so she thinks they must all be in cahoots? That is the only explanation I can think of.
