Anyone who has noticed that she hasn't posted for a while might not be surprised to learn that she's unable to receive PMs.

We all know what that means.

angry

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:25:22

I am merely repeating it merlotgran
wink
but I suppose that is perpetuating the myth of ridiculousness

mcem Mon 16-Jan-17 20:26:36

2 intriguing comments still.
You think it's sad if someone keeps track of individual comments and who said what to whom.
You like ankers.
Interesting.......verrrry interesting!

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:27:31

I may have been called something previously though Jamila so maybe not so new (will leave that up to the thread police). People that put suggestions across due to their own insecurities and wanting to be part of a "set" annoy the frig out of me.

Post on a thread and say what you personally feel on any given subject, however blunt or not, so what. People that carry things on and try to do some sort of creepy detective work on a previous poster really piss me off.

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:29:38

Well at least saak has given us some new words to play around with:
sad, rude, ridiculous spy Ana grin
There could be many more

mcem Mon 16-Jan-17 20:30:02

Was about to apologise for continuing this utter nonsense and then still ' s last post appeared ???

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:30:08

Well, that certainly applies to Ankers, so why on earth do you like him/her so much?

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:31:21

(t saak of course)

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:31:27

creepy

frig a new word altogether

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:32:32

And so old-fashioned! grin

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:35:54

never hear of it

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:35:56

I don't particularly like or dislike anyone per say. On a forum you say what you feel at the time and don't carry it on. I quite liked the fact that she sounded as if she had balls (metaphorically speaking of course) I also don't like threads where another person is commented on in a way that and tarnishing them, then other bound in clarifying this wrong.

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 20:36:07

never heard of it!

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:37:28

I don't particular find you funny Ana nor Jalima. I find you rather spiteful.

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:42:31

Who cares? You're hardly a kindly old gran yourself, judging by your posts.

Ankers Mon 16-Jan-17 20:44:52

For what it is worth, I have no idea who stillaliveandkicking is.

I think I have seen her name about for a while but not sure.
Sorry saak!

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:45:53

Kindly old gran? what does that mean? That's a profoundly ageist comment. I speak as I find.

Ana Mon 16-Jan-17 20:47:11

So report me then for ageism...

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:47:21

I also have no idea who anyone is other than reading and replying to posts on here.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:47:40

why would I report you Ana?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 20:53:19

I enjoy a good debate and I never hold a grudge or harbour a name, we are all individuals probably having good and bad days and post according to what's gone on that day or our given mood. It's all allowed. I never press the "report" button.

Elegran Mon 16-Jan-17 20:57:52

If you want to get rid of a witch, throw her into the duckpond. She will either drown or not. If she bobs up again and doesn't drown, she is proved to be a witch, so burn her and get rid of her. If she doesn't bob up again, and does drown, she is not a witch, but you have got rid of her anyway. She can't win, can she? ^"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live^" - or admit that maybe you were wrong and she wasn't a witch at all.

If you accuse a whole lot of posters of being a clique, they will either:-
a) - ignore you, and not deny it - which you then interpret as admitting that it is true.
or
b) - reply that it is a ridiculous assertion, point out the difference between agreeing with a post and conspiring together, and make jokes about not being named and asking to join the "gang" - which you then interpret as providing proof that you were right and there is indeed a clique.

Have you heard of Morton's Fork? John Morton, Archbishop of Canterbury in the fifteenth century, was a collector of taxes who held that someone living modestly must be saving money and therefore, could afford taxes, whereas those living extravagantly obviously were rich and could afford them as well. Thus he got the maximum he could squeeze out of everyone. If he didn't get it with one argument, he got it with the other - they were caught on one prong or other of the fork.

Jalima Mon 16-Jan-17 21:00:45

Well, as your first post addressed to me called me rude for something I didn't say and you have now called me spiteful I think I will ignore you in future saak.

Anyone who knows me knows I am neither.

I will leave other posters to judge for themselves what they think of you.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 21:00:48

Goodness gracious Elegran, Im a left hander so would have certainly been burned at the stake for being a witch grin

Cliques are not imagined and they do happen whether on line or in real life. If you think not then you are sadly misguided.

Elegran Mon 16-Jan-17 21:01:10

That was after reading posts further up. God alone knows how SAAK got in on this discussion - just saw a nice ding-dong going on and thought she'd join in, I suppose.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 16-Jan-17 21:01:48

I speak as I find or read Jalima.
