I admire you for your efforts to give up, wot. I have never smoked, but DH struggled when he was trying to kick the habit. He thought he had done it in 1982, but he was posted to the Falklands right at the end of the war where he was working all hours and living conditions were pretty awful - and cigarettes were duty free - so it was almost inevitable that he would start again. He did, however, manage to do it after he left the Army, but only by going cold turkey. Cutting down never worked for him. Keep going; no-one is going to blame you for being less than a ray of sunshine!
