Awful Awful weather. I hope none of you were flooded? We were ok here but the rain was torrential all day long, and the wind howled. So loud was the rain on the windows that I couldn't hear myself speaking on the 'phone. Tomorrow is my big meeting involving the two long bus journeys, one to York, then change to Leeds. Yoor floods regularly as does the road approaching it from where we live. I really hope that this will not be the case. I think West Yorkshire has it bad too so will be a small miracle if I actually get to where I am meant to be.
I worry about that. I worry if I will have a good night and get some sleep, and I worry that IF that is the case, will I wake up in time
I am all screwed up, but was thinking to myself that once i have this done I might get a bit of peace and quiet for a while, NO
Post arrived lunchtime and there was an appointment for me to go for a mammogram in two weeks time. I was discharged from the hospital three years ago after breast cancer, and I dread doing this and waiting for the results.
You know what bothers me most though? not the fact that I may have something, may need an operation, but how the hell we will manage if I do. Hubby has PD, and whilst he manages pretty well under the circumstances he is not safe at night, very disturbed nights and falls sometimes( This is why I hardly sleep), I know one can have respite care but no way would he agree to that, and if he did we also have an old dog to consider. I also work and would miss my earnings if I were to be laid off. I wouldn't get any help as I am pension age.
I also have no idea how I would get to the Hospital at the ridiculously early time they want you in for an op. No one to take me, buses not going at such a time. Too far for a taxi, cannot afford it. Oh Boy I must have done something terrible in a former life because I keep getting one heap of chucked at me straight after the other
Sorry just ignore me I wanted a moan.
