We were given our 'best' china for wedding presents 47 years ago and have used it for dinner parties and special meals in the past. However, it now sits in the cupboard and is rarely used, even at Christmas. I don't think it has ever been in the dishwasher as we treated it as something special. Walking past charity shop windows we see many sets of china which have probably been 'saved' until on-one wants them. I am sure many other Gransnetters will be in the same situation. To use or not to use?
