Just listening to Radio 2 this morning and pottering on doing a bit of housework. DH is at work (for a change) and suddenly this song comes on the radio. It never fails to really upset me. Maybe I am just feeling particularly pathetic and sorry for myself at the minute.

Is it just me, or are there any songs that have that effect on you?

My husband who passed away almost 2 years ago loved singing and made some CD's. The last song on one of these was dedicated to me and he says at the beginning 'This is just for you Molly'.It's called You're my best friend, recorded by Don Williams. I have to listen to it every day, as it's the only sound of his voice I'll ever hear again.
