Is it the Beeb's fault?

Cooking lunch with the TV on and Points of View came on. A father complained about the fact that The Beeb has changed the finishing time of CBeebies from 7pm to 9 pm. Apparently his children don't know when it's bedtime now and it cuts into the parent's evening.confused

Many years ago, one of our dogs learnt early on that her dinner was served when Neighbours ended each evening. She recognised the theme tune, and always seemed to understand that it was the second playing of the tune that heralded her dinner bowl being filled.
The problem was school holidays, when the two teenagers were at home and watched the lunchtime edition - as soon as Sasha heard the theme tune played for the second time, she was running backwards and forwards from the kitchen, whining and fussing for her food. At 1.50pm. grin

My bedtime as a child was the start of The Archers. Just had a thought...I wonder if a recording of the music would help me get off to sleep even now. I still remember having to be at the top of the stairs by the time the music had finished.

All hell would have let loose in my household if the timings had changed.
