Who next, depressing news about yet another high profile person (Sam Allardyce) has been found to be less straight and honest.

We seem to get frequent disclosures about, and prosecutions of, so many people that we look up to and admire, sportsmen, politicians, statesmen, entertainers etc etc. If it's not sexual offences, it's bribery and corruption.

I find it all very upsetting, who can we trust ? sad

How low can he sink, to whine about 'entrapment'? He has lied, cheated and demonstrated that the millions he was to be paid every year are not enough for him. He is so greedy and unprincipled that he resorts to this kind of underhand behaviour. What a man , and he demonstrates what football has become - appalling behaviour ignored because the oaf concerned is a 'good' (i.e expensive) footballer, eye popping amounts of money paid to young men who then think they are bomb proof and have a sense of entitlement that is staggering. Ugh. Give me rugby any day!
