Anyone got an appropriate/inappropriate ringtone on their mobile? I currently have stones 'Brown Sugar' DH has 'Highland Cathedral'. The bagpipes certainly turn heads.
I am thinking of changing to 'Them bones them bones them dry bones' any suggestions? grin

The boogie woogie bugle boy of company b, makes sure I can hear it when it's deep in my bag. I did once have Alexander the Meerkat who used to shout that I had an important call coming in, but I accidentally left my phone on when I was giving a talk to about 50 people causing great mirth to them and embarrassment to me.... so no more Alexander!

I used to have the title music from the film Halloween, but unfortunately my phone went off when I was visiting York Minster, it started blaring out just as it was really hushed and the choir started to sing softly in latin, I was so embarrased digging around in my handbag in a panic trying to shut it off as fast as I could, needless to say I changed the ringtown after that

Skullduggery, I live near Killoscully, "Killinoscully". It's a lovely little village in Co Tipperary, where they film in the pub there.

Oh I'm just going to have to get one of these smiley noises! I was on a bus the other day when a very common ringtone sounded - there were at least 3 people fumbling in bags and pockets before it was answered smile Any recommendations for the best sites to check please?

Mine is a duck, an increasingly loud duck as I just don't hear jingles. It's great as long as you don't mind the look of panic on people nearby as they think a giant duck has arrived in their midst!!! grin

My daughter found one that said ' oh God it's your mother, get the phone it's your mother ' American but funny

I set a meow for a cat-loving friend who doesn't phone very often so I forgot that I had allocated that. When it rang from another room, I was convinced that a cat had come into the house and was trapped somewhere - searched the house for half-an-hour before it dawned.

I have one ringtone for family, another for friends, another for business calls and a catch-all for unknown callers.

Skweek1 Sun 25-Sept-16 09:57:52

I've got the Debussy Arabesque - at least I recognise it as mine! DS's best friend had appropriate ones for family - The Great Escape for Mum and Ride of the Valkyries for big sister.

Humbertbear Sun 25-Sept-16 09:51:32

I have different ringtones for different people. The one for my sister is Peter Saarsted's Where do you go to my Lovely' . I think it was written about her!

dirgni Sun 25-Sept-16 09:43:51

All these weird ringtones are one of my pet hates. Mine rings like a phone!!!

2old4hotpants Sun 25-Sept-16 09:39:09

I have the Captain Pugwash theme tune. My phone rang when I was on a sailing barge trip. The other trippers thought it hilarious.

EEJit Sun 25-Sept-16 09:35:40

Hawaii Five O for the ringtone and a clean Mrs Brown for messages. Plus different ringtones for some family members.

"The Stripper"

phoenix the old phone sound is my current one, but I fancy a change now. Plus it seems to be quite popular and if I'm out somewhere, I can't tell if it's my phone ringing. As hardly anyone has my number, it rarely is, so I might as well choose something else! grin

cornergran Sat 24-Sept-16 20:54:54

Mine are quite ordinary but I do have a harp for WhatsApp. Love it, peaceful.

phoenix Sat 24-Sept-16 17:30:54

WilmaKnickersfit Sat 24-Sept-16 17:20:10

This thread has reminded me that I need to change mine. wink

Badenkate Sat 24-Sept-16 17:08:05

The theme from X Files is a message coming in, and The Good, The Bad and the Ugly is a phone call. I am tempted by Forever Autumn though Linsco56

Irma Sat 24-Sept-16 16:23:10
