Whatever panto we decide on, can I please be the back end of a cow?

The part was written for me. grin

Teetime Wed 21-Sept-16 10:20:43

Ok then where do want me - lights, action - where is my trailer and my make up artists? I take it I am to play the leading lady

Wobblybits Wed 21-Sept-16 10:14:01

TeeTime, I'm sure Rotherham Sailing Club (UK) will understand.

Indinana Wed 21-Sept-16 09:52:40

Gransel and Gretel?

Charleygirl Wed 21-Sept-16 09:43:31

NanKate me appearing wearing anything would not sell any programmes. I am of more use working back stage. My forte is writing amusing ditties.

One must talk to one's agent first- not sure if I wanted at the RSC this season.

Lisalou Wed 21-Sept-16 05:55:28

I am up for stage direction if anyone needs me...as long as I get plenty of naps during rehearsals!

Eloethan Wed 21-Sept-16 01:18:40

Babes in the 'Hood.

Red riding hoodies?

Wobblybits Tue 20-Sept-16 17:44:30

I'll let it sleep and bump it up in November. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Ana Tue 20-Sept-16 17:40:55

Good luck with keeping the thread going for that long! grin

Wobblybits Tue 20-Sept-16 17:39:08

Trisha, please note, I did not mention the "C" word, OK, it's a technicality, but we are only at the planning stage, rehearsals will not commence before the end of November.

NanKate Tue 20-Sept-16 17:33:03

Come on Charleygirl I am sure you would look good in a short frilly skirt selling programmes if you don't feel up to treading the boards.

NanKate Tue 20-Sept-16 17:30:32

I'm with you Wobblybits as you were up for the Olympics and Paras.

Could I be a fairly mature Fairy Godmother ? I have a sparkly type wand given to me by one of my students when I was teaching. My two GSs are very taken with it. smile

trisher Tue 20-Sept-16 17:15:33

When I was teaching we had a ban on mentioning the festive season for anything at all (including the Christmas Production) until after half term (last week in October). So I am programmed to completely ignore this thread until then. Sorry!

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 20-Sept-16 17:06:47

Oh God! hmm

Charleygirl Tue 20-Sept-16 16:45:33

I need 6 months to recover from the Paralympics.

grandMattie Tue 20-Sept-16 16:40:01

Ana Tue 20-Sept-16 16:37:44

It's only September...shock

Nonnie Tue 20-Sept-16 16:34:15

Oh no they're not!

Wobblybits Tue 20-Sept-16 15:45:30

Now we are all back home after our success at the GN Olympics, it is time to turn minds to the Xmas Panto.
So, all you thespians, get your thinking caps on and suggest what we can perform.
If there is a part for a fat, grumpy old git, then I am your man.

We could do "Pussy in Boots" (other chemists are available)

"Jack and his Beanstalk"

"Mother's been Goosed"

Not sure if these are quite correct. OH yes they are ........
