Silver Wedding - feeling very old!

That's the sort of thing that brings it home isn't it. Eldest son is almost 45 and I'm sure I'm not much older.

DH's parents were/seemed terribly old when they had their golden wedding anniversary but no one now seems to be!!

Time goes by far too fast for me. Congrats to your son and d-i-l, Willow. I found some photos of our 25th recently - we both looked ridiculously young! My DD and her partner are not married, but next year they will have been together for 25 years. They have never celebrated anniversaries, which I find rather sad, but I hope they will mark it in some way.

DB I was actually a child bride - 17 and a day - hubby just a month older so we've never really felt our age until recently and of course are still somewhere between 20 and 30 in our heads! I have a video of our silver wedding party and son and DIL are on it - we all look so young Thanks for your messages!

Congratulations and well done to all those celebrating wedding anniversaries, how ever many years it should be. ? ? ?? ? . It's amazing how quickly the time has gone. While away last week, the room maid saw our cards and asked how long we had been married, and how old I had been. I was 19, DH 22. I certainly feel my age now after a day in the garden. ( she was very sweet )

We celebrated our 47th yesterday. We went out for a meal and we both said we can't believe where all the time has gone and all the things that have happened since 1969.
