Watching the Olympics ( I try not to but Grampy was watching this afternoon) and can't help but notice the number of female athletes that have no breasts at all.

Now it's not something I do in general ( look at other women's breasts) and I realise these women are athletes but I wondered whether only flat chested women become athletes OR is there something in the training that affects the shape of female athletes.

As a well endowed woman I have always maintained women with significant breasts shouldn't run, it's uncomfortable and in my case I could either end up blacking my eyes or worse knocking out a spectator.smile

So, does anyone know is it science, genetics or something else ?

grin jings yes I did ride, but have never had anything in the way of bosoms!

However, even though it was the bane of my life in past times, I must say that the little that I have got seem to stay where they should be........ish.....

I've never had boobs at all until I put on weight all over.

Many of those athletes look like men, especially the distance athletes. I thought I was watching the men's cycling road race again, but it was the women's, looking exactly the same in physique terms.

I saw the women's walk in London (IRL) and the athletes are tiny, with no fat. They could've been men or women.

Also, most of those athletes will not have given birth. I'm sure giving birth does something to the female body.

My childless friends are flat as pancakes. And very slimenvy.

I used to ride alot, and have hardly any Bum, and not big breasts either. Wouldn't describe myself as athletic though. I wonder if i biked alot would I get that very toned figure of the ladies in the olympics, or would I simply collapse smile

I have always supposed that different body types suit different sports. If you weren't lean you wouldn't be able to run far. Breasts do get in the way, my excuse for not being sporty.
