I feel young when I realise that I still laugh until I can't breathe and my knees give out!

Most of my neighbours are in their 80s and 90s and full of life, busy and getting out and about so I am hoping it is something in the air here! Makes me feel I have to keep up since they have 20 -30years on me!

Skipping about with my Fitbit doing 12,000 to 14,000 steps a day makes me feel as if I am young though I know I am 59 and that's the reality.

Closing my eyes when DH kisses me - and I am thirteen again!

I have to agree with Maggiem - being with Really Old people makes me feel young, by contrast! But Its also depressing, reminding me of what's to come!

I've just joined the WI and am one of the youngest members. Most are in their 80's and we have one lady of 101.

Going on a cruise made me feel young. Being one of the few that didn't have to join the queue for the lift. This also applies to coach holidays which we now enjoy, but these make us feel old at the same time just for being on them

A trip to the hairdresser makes me feel young also painting my toe and finger nails bright colours I also work with a lot of younger people in their 20s and being included in their conversation makes me feel young.

Grannyknot - I would love to know how you sleep like a log. I have never slept like a log in my life. I am definitely a light sleeper.

Being with young people who make me laugh - like I've been all this week with our visitors- big gig tomorrow night and they will make me join in and make me feel great.

Keeping up with my children and grandchildren on WhatsApp makes me feel included and valued

Walking hand in hand along sea's edge does it for me. It helps if it's warm and sunny too!

I have no sense of age, so never feel either old or young, and I never have.

millymouge my daughter calls that "the happy dance". We also have a "food dance".

I feel young every morning when I wake up because I sleep like a log at night.

When I say I feel young, I suppose I am feeling that I am indulging myself in something that gives me pleasure and not feeling guilty about it. After years of not spending on myself, sometimes it is difficult to accept that you are worth it.

A hairdo makes me look a bit younger though not sure about feeling younger. The hairdo lasts only a few hours and then my hair resumes its usual shape. Scruffy.

A nice new handbag makes me feel pleased but I wouldn't say it makes me feel 'young'. I mostly just feel like me!

DH and I spent a recent weekend with dear friends made over 40 years ago. We have not seen them for quite a while, there have been serious health issues for three of us in that time. Even so, the years just peeled away, the talk and laughter was so reminiscent of the times we spent when we were actually young. Took years off us all and I can heartily recommend it.

No you are not, it is good for you to have things just like that because they make you feel good. Feeling good equates to enjoying life. I was a bit like that this morning when I saw a necklace in a shop, just what I had been looking for - so I bought it. I am now a happy bunny. I read somewhere that your should buy things that make you feel that you want to do a little dance when you get them
