Good Morning Sunday

I know it's a bit late to say good morning! I had a rather exciting one. I'm now in Glasgow, after having an emergency call from DD. Her lodger friend went into labour, so I'm here looking after the DGC while DD is at the hospital with her friend. No word yet about mother and baby though. I had to change my travel plans as I was supposed to be coming tomorrow. Let's hope all is okay. I can't wait to see the baby, I feel like his granny too!

Elrel my other half will happily iron, but is terrified of the ironing board!

Good morning from a sunny but very windy north east. Another lazy day as GC are on holiday, time to catch up on some recorded television programmes.

Good morning all! Very windy in Birmingham last night and this morning. Sunny and invigorating.
Whitewave - I never knew that stupas were known as fairies' hair. Last year I became aware of Angels' fishing rods but still haven't got one myself. My garden is odd with random but quite sculptural evening primroses, waving in the wind at present!

Good morning to you all, I too am late kitty didn't sleep well, and the sun is not shining, so did not creep through the crack in the curtain to waken me - must have a word! I cancelled my game of bowls this pm because the weather forecast said it was going to be hot and sunny, and I can't play in the heat. It is of course now quite cool and cloudy. However it might change and it is better to let people know early on, that you will not play, rather than let them down at the last minute. I am helping with teas. It's a lovely bright start in North Leicestershire and the forecast is for a warm and sunny day.

Today dh is 71!!!! We are going to a nice gastro pub in the village for lunch but, before we do, I must do some ironing.

Spot of rain overnight and dull this morning, but forecast is for sun and 25c later so will do online groceries this morning then out into the garden pm. Dig up and pot up some self seeded grasses -Stipas -fairies hair I think the common name is. I will grow them on and give away to son and other family members or friends.

Good morning from cloudy Colchester, the sun is breaking through and we're in for another hot one.
Getting to the bottom of DH rucksack today and tidying the garden. You can borrow our mower afterwards Grannyflower ! Roast beef lunch ?

Ver breezy here in Norfolk and overcast. But the forecast is good so hopefully we'll be able to go out on our little boat later. We had thought to take the two dogs, but they're not used to boats - could be a challenge!
