??
Tall and tan and young and lovely
The grans from Ipanema go walking
And when they pass, each one they pass
Goes "Bless!"
When they walk, they're not quite a samba, more of a two step
That swings so cool and sways so gentle
That when they pass, each one they pass
Goes "Bless"
Oh, but I watch them so sadly
How can I tell them I love them
Yes, I would give my heart gladly
But each day as they walk to the sea garden centre
They look straight ahead,in case they trip
Tall and tan and young and lovely
The grans from Ipanema go walking
And when they pass, I smile, but they
Don't see. They just don't see
They've got their reading glasses on
And anyway they're having way too much fun chatting and looking at those nice young men and showing each bother pictures of their grandchildren.
Sigh ??
