Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dull but dry here in South Yorkshire. An early start for us - I have a hospital appointment at 0830 and it is almost an hour's drive, so we are off shortly. Had a nice evening at the theatre yesterday with DD and s-i-L. Pinter. Still trying to get my head round it! Grandad had a boys night in with GS, eating toffee popcorn watching Harry Potter! Have a good day folks.

Good morning all.
Raining steadily in Stockport, it was very windy yesterday. My lunch out was a bit traumatic , one of the friends I was with complained of not feeling well, she has had a few problems recently and to cut a long story short, she is in hospital now on a magnesium drip. I will find out more later. When I got home , it was to a message to ring my local hospital and they offered me a date, next Monday for my knee replacement. After a filling at the dentist this morning I have to get moving making all my arrangements for H to be taken care of while I am in.

Good morning from a grey windy Colchester. The sun is trying it's best though.
Lunch out today in a local pub with the Wednesday coffee ladies and another similar group from nearby.
Shocked to find out that the supermarket 2 minutes walk from me is closing in September,I shall have to become an organised shopper as I have become used to nipping over.

Good morning to you all, a little uncertain weather wise, and I feel a bit like that too, perhaps we shall both brighten up later. What a pity about your meal Ann, hope your friend is o.k. Not a lot planned for me, so enjoy your days.

Dentist today and more gardening I think. Deadheading, feed the dahlias and weeding. Pick and freeze the excess French beans.

Overcast but sunny too here in Staffordshire.
Had a DGD stay over last night. She has DH's artistic gift so they spent yesterday drawing together and will carry on today. We sat and watched some old family videos last night when she and her siblings were little-great fun!
Her older sister borrowed our the car yesterday to visit a school friend overnight. She'll be back this morning. Happy days.

More decorating and such for us today as we have an overnight tomorrow with DGS 3 & 4 so nothing much will get done till sunday

It's a beautiful morning in West Central Scotland, blue skies with a few puffy white clouds.

Have been up since 6am packing as we're about to head off to Hertfordshire to visit DD for a week. We're sharing the driving but it will still be a long journey. I'm on the first leg and stopping off for a brief visit with friends in Cheshire.

Looking forward to a change of scenery.

We were promised a lovely day by the weatherman last night. Where is it? It's cloudy, damp and grey in the Tyne Valley. I'm going to try and fix my vacuum cleaner! It has plenty of motor but very little suction. Might be the filters.
