Hello all,

Hmm, that's interesting. The sign up pop-up should only appear when you're not logged in (just before you log in, or if you choose to browse without being logged in).

ninethenanna were you logged in already when it flashed up?

And Jalima could you let me know what kind of tablet you were using when that happened to you?

Thanks smile

JackyB is the advert by Madonna?

The threads behind are in normal size though GandTea, it is just this big pink box looming over most of the screen urging me to join GN. It doesn't have a mouse.
Even if I wanted to log in (and I don't always]) it takes five minutes of tapping the screen to get the box to disappear and be able to log in.
An iPad is probably better than my tablet.

Jalima. I have just tried it on Mrs P's Ipad and I don't get any problem. Could it be that you have the zoom setting on your browser set to something greater than 100%. You will find that setting in your browsers settings tab --- or hold the ctrl key down and scroll with your mouse to zoom in/out.

Getting your virginity back, that's a stich up !!! boom boom

Wow!

I have not got adds on my screen, I think I managed to put a block on them.

ninathenana If I take a quick peek at GN on my tablet without logging on the ad inviting me to join covers most of the page! It is so large that I cannot see the X in the corner to get rid of it.
I can't then log in anyway, if I tap the screen it may go away eventually but then re-appears.
I don't stay logged in although I know some people do.

GN - Do you know why?

ninathenana Wed 03-Aug-16 17:10:21

I do realize that GT but why advertise something I'm already using. Amazon don't advertise themselves on their own website grin

Jane10 Wed 03-Aug-16 16:31:10

I had an advert for a Turkish law firm confused

GandTea Wed 03-Aug-16 15:55:59

It's the adverts that pay for GN, otherwise you would have to pay a subscription.

Like all flashing ads it's really irritating.

The flashing add at the top of the Active page on the mobile site is encouraging me to............
