Laughs with Alishka. Whilst I don't wear them as in my mid 50's I do like an elastic waistband these days.

Alishka Sat 06-Aug-16 21:43:46

stillalive can report that crimplene 'slacks' with a permanent crease down them are still being worn on our Seniors bus to Morrisons on a Saturday here. Pretty indestructible, crimplene slacksgrin

I also remember the green stripe in Neapolitan ice cream, but nobody else I mentioned it to remembered it.
Kids batting a tyre down the street with a stick.

Ana Sat 06-Aug-16 13:21:10

Was it? A bit exotic for those days - perhaps that's why they discontinued it!

pensionpat Sat 06-Aug-16 13:13:23

Bra-slips. Ana the green ice cream was pistachio flavour.

LullyDully Sat 06-Aug-16 12:43:57

Ana Sat 06-Aug-16 12:38:44

Glad someone else remembers that green stripe in Neapolitan ice cream, no one else I know seems to! It wasn't mint-flavoured, it had a strange taste but I liked it.

GandTea Sat 06-Aug-16 12:34:14

Knitted swim wear --- could it make a com back ?

gettingonabit Sat 06-Aug-16 08:56:54

Pigglywiggly Sat 06-Aug-16 07:17:44

Or Nealopitans as we call them. I think it might have come from a sketch with June Whitfield.

numberplease Thu 04-Aug-16 17:03:48

Terry`s Neapolitans, they were my favourite boxed chocs.
