We've got 2 dgds staying tonight and, so they get to sleep [hollow Laugh], one is in one room and one in another. We keep hearing footsteps pm s and have gone up to discover the 2 year old gas run amok in Pa's study. She has cut up all the very important post it notes that he had all over his desk. Oh dear!!

DD2 cut chunks off both sides of her hair with her own little scissors when she was 3 - and about to be a bridesmaid!

Chuckle!

I once cut a neat square hole out of my (new! shock bedspread and a nice long slit up a curtain shock shock apparently! I don't remember. Then I gave the scissors to my dad with "I found your scissors, daddy" grin

I remember the bedspread. It had a neat but obvious patch for the rest of its life!

When we were young, staying at granny's for the holidays, we raided the bathroom cabinet, found what we thought was an eyebrow pencil and proceeded to embellish my younger sister's eyebrows. My parents were horrified: what we had found was a styptic pencil, used for burning off warts and my sister's eyebrows became rather patchy and grew in quite bushy for a five-year-old. Oh dear, indeed!

DD2 and her little friend, both 2 or 3, were playing (far too) quietly in our bedroom. When someone eventually checked, they'd smeared half a bottle of baby oil over the wallpaper, drunk a bottle of junior vitamin drops (a month's supply), and opened half a dozen condoms and shoved them down a radiator (they'd found some snakes and killed them, apparently).

That wallpaper bore the stain until we redecorated years later. I rang A & E in a panic about the vitamin drops and was told that oh yes, there would be side-effects, they'd both be bouncing with health for a couple of weeks grin
