Or anything other than politics/potential party leaders/how we're all going to hell in a handcart/everything is going to be so much better etc.

I like kittens, Regina blitz is a really good kitchen roll, might seem expensive at first glance but is actually good value, my neighbours have a kayak, but their eldest son is rather plump and has trouble fitting in the damn thing, perhaps he should eat only kiwi fruit for a week.

Sick, sick sick of politics , listen to Radio 4, read Daily Telegraph, would like more non political threads on GN!

(Tin helmet time again?)

I have kuddled a koala, they are quite heavy. Thank goodness it was nearly asleep, must have been full of eucalypt leaves.

Here is a koala having a drink from a cyclist's bottle

Lovely thread, I like pointless wanderings.
Regina Blitz - brilliant stuff but I flinch a little at the name because the word Regina sounds just a little too near v....a. Have to laugh, their toilet roll Regina Softis is the best, too, though I've never seen it for sale anywhere other than Waitrose.
When I get het up at day-to-day news I go and sit on the beach and listen to the sea for a bit - never fails to work. Best when it's misty and I can hear distant fog-horns, just love that sound! Anyone else have favourite calming sounds?

Have you ever tried shopping for food which has the same letter?

Chips, cheese, chocolate, crisps, chipolatas, cherries, coke, cake, coffee, champagne, croissants, chicken, cream etc. Quite fun and makes shopping a bit more exciting for the children. smile

On the thread of K ,,, For kayaking,, my more supple yoga ing friend goes kayaking and has asked me to go with her to try it, I would love to but,, it's my knees and my hips that would prevent me from getting in/getting out , ! I am afraid I would get stuck in the kayak , getting out of the bath is tricky enough but at least there's no one to see me struggling ungainly , Should I just go for it and hope for a few helping hands or is it a bit risky,
