Kittens, koalas, kitchen roll, kyaks and kiwi fruit

Or anything other than politics/potential party leaders/how we're all going to hell in a handcart/everything is going to be so much better etc.

I like kittens, Regina blitz is a really good kitchen roll, might seem expensive at first glance but is actually good value, my neighbours have a kayak, but their eldest son is rather plump and has trouble fitting in the damn thing, perhaps he should eat only kiwi fruit for a week.

Sick, sick sick of politics , listen to Radio 4, read Daily Telegraph, would like more non political threads on GN!

(Tin helmet time again?)

Kola kubes, does anyone remember those? Here's a random thing that happened this morning. I went into my kitchen, sat a the table today my breakfast, and spotted a huge slug sliding round the top of my bin. Last night DH left his shoes in the conservatory. This morning when he went to put them on he found several slugs on them. He removed them, threw them over the wall and was just about to put his shoes on when he spotted one in his shoe. He tipped it out, into the bin. It made its break for freedom just as I was having my breakfast. Yuck.

Our last kat had 4 kittens. We kept one and kalled him Kiwi, not because he's green but because he is all black!!

I don't know if you still kuddle a koala at Kairns Tropical Zoo but you could at one time.

There are lots of kangaroos basking on the golf courses up there!

Kippers for breakfast would make a nice change

Anyone watched The Klangers lately? (Sorry , Clangers)

Apologies for typos, getting karried away

Bless you and thank you Phoenix!
Roses, rhubarb, rabbits....anything other than you know what!
Slugs galore here, I've given up trying to control them.

We're trying to keep the bird feeders filled - for the first time ever we have two Jays feeding on the peanuts as well as the Spotted Woodpeckers, nuthatches, umpteen members of the tit families, starlings, green and gol- finches.
It's bedlam out there!

Gaga, bet it was KEW and KEG. Mumoftwoboys, I love(d) the Lleyn Peninsula. Went when the girls were young. Lovely views across to Bardsey, though we just admired it from the end of Lleyn. We stayed somewhere close to Analog, forget where.
Ballet, buttercups, babies, books, birds, bright days ?

Elephants do it for me. You tube clips of baby elephants throwing themselves at people for a cuddle or falling over.
Google Mfuwe Lodge if you haven't seen it.

Karate. It's the only sport/exercise I haven't got bored with in 20 years.

Thank you phoenix this thread has made me smile.

Came back from a walk this morning to find a note from the postie to say that he had tried to deliver a parcel and that we would have to collect it from the main post office. Two hours later - a knock on the door and it was the postie on his return journey - just thought he would see if we were in. Love our postie.

DH and I are feeding a stray kat at present, unfortunately we are also feeding the magpies and starlings as well.

DS's name begins with K, so does youngest DGD.
My Dad made a kayak when I was in my teens but we always called it a Kanoe! Wish I could remember what happened to it.

PRINTMISS Thu 30-Jun-16 15:50:34

Kan't think of anything to add, just poking my nose in, enjoying the fun, which as you have all said is so kalming.

A friend had a Kinkajou (honey bear)
His favourite treats were Kiwi and a Refresher sweetgrin
Have stroked koala bear with back of hand as instructed, he was fast a kip.
Loved the little kangaroos. Sroked and fed them. Have to put the food right under their nose as eye sight is very poor. Peer at you like Mr Magoo.
