DH and I have just had a lovely morning out together, getting blood tests done at the hospital! We know how to live!

...and enjoy a cup of tea and a doughnut at the hospital cafe? That was essential when we used to take DD to outpatients after a serious accident.

Having said that, my OH and I did the same thing yesterday and it is the first time we have really been out together for months. Very nice peppermint tea in the hospital caff!

You were lucky to get a cup of tea. I had a hospital appointment on Wednesday and DH came with me as he wanted to get something from town on the way. We eschewed the chance of a coffee in M&S in favour of the lovely little coffee shop opposite the hospital - which, when we got there, was closed. Ok, we'll get one at the WRVS shop in the hospital foyer - closed (not enough volunteers)! We fell back on the water cooler in the waiting room. sad
