Agree with Nonnie and jings regarding 'bladder malfunctions'

Trampoling is bad for your pelvic floor and not good for older women who've had children. I've had a hysterectomy for prolapse earlier this year and was told that trampoling is one of the worst exercises for women - even fit, young, childless women can prolapse with trampoling. This is proved by the bladder problems mentioned here.

Thanks for that, GrandmaMoira. I will tell my GSs how bad it would be for me next time they say, 'Come on Granny' and try to get me on the trampoline, though I might come unstuck trying to explain 'prolapse' to 8 and 10 year-olds.

My granddog loves going on the trampoline with the GC or DS and sits by the zipped 'door' and asks to be let in. She is a rather big Labradoodle!!

Annodomini - When I knew I would have to have surgery, I told my GDs of 8 and 10 that bits of my insides had fallen out of place and the doctors had to put them back in place - they accepted that version of prolapse easily.

Funnily enough DH brought my wee trampoline out of the shed for DGD this morning. She's not a good jumper (looks more like a horse cantering!) and the trampette didn't improve her at all. It gave her a good laugh when we both demonstrated for her at least.

With it's dangers to my nether regions I'll refrain from any more jumping!!!
