I have been ill lately and restricted in what I could do, however in that time I have become hooked on nature. Each evening I have watched Springwatch (I know it is presented in a child like way) and just love Chris Packham's enthusiasm.
When I have felt up to a gentle walk I have marvelled at the sound of the birds overhead, especially the noisy Red Kites and the beautifully coloured parakeets. I have listened to the rain and the slow drip drip outside my bedroom window.
I am considering buying myself the I Spy book of Trees as I can only identify a silver birch and a fir tree.
Nature has got me through a tricky time and of course my DH. No wonder they get people with depression working at Garden Centres as it has a Therapeutic effect.
You never know I may even do some gardening unheard of for me as I don't like getting my finger nails dirty - what a wuss.
House of the Dragon - good or a train wreck
