Hooray! it arrived this afternoon.
But not such a big deal compared with the problems many on here are facing.
Still, I think shopping online gives more problems than it's worth.

Thanks for the replies - bike still hasn't arrived. But husband has calmed down now, I think he's forgotten about it (sh!)

I'm lucky in that I live on the edge of a town so deliveries are not a problem at all. I collect items directly from some stores so I don't pay delivery and can then return them (foc) at the post office or Co-op at the end of our road.
That's one of the reasons we chose to live here. It's easily accessible (bus service at the end of the road), shops and library nearby too and all on the flat for when we can't walk far.

Tricia, I find it nerve wracking waiting for deliveries. My house is not easy to find. It's very disappointing when things don't arrive!

I guess that's just life! Frustrations abound one way or another. I am just thankful not to have to trail around the shops really as shopping just wouldn't happen any other way. Usually the system works pretty well and I make sure that I pay on a credit card so have the benefit of the protection that it gives.
Hope the bike arrives soon and your DH gets great enjoyment from it. smile

Because we live far from shops we do a lot of online shopping; Especially husband.
All very well when it comes to choice, price, but the delivery - when it doesn't turn up on time, or you have to wait in for days on end, or when it arrives it's damaged etc shock
Sometimes I wish we were back living in a town.
He has bought an electric bike, got all excited yesterday because he got an email to say it's coming today. But it never turned up. Then another email "delayed for 24 hours." So waiting hopefully today - still nothing.
Talk about grumpy husbands, he's up and down like a yoyo. If it still doesn't come he'll be miserable tonight - why do we have to put up with it?
The few things I buy, I just forget about them after, don't follow the delivery route.
